Multi-factor authentication & single sign-on

Do I need multi-factor authentication to access the portal?

Yes. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required to access the GenV Research Portal and associated analysis environments.
GenV uses Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Authenticator to help protect your account and the sensitive information held within GenV systems. When signing in, you will be asked to verify your identity using the Microsoft Authenticator app or another approved Microsoft Entra ID verification method.

How do I set up multi-factor authentication

As part of the registration and sign-in process, you will be prompted to configure MFA through Microsoft Entra ID.
In most cases, this involves:
  1. Downloading the Microsoft Authenticator app to your mobile device.
  2. Following the on-screen instructions to link the app to your account.
  3. Approving a test sign-in to complete setup.
